rental information

  • All rentals are subject to GST

  • If music is played, with or without dancing, there will be a small fee payable (SOCAN fee)

  • Liquor licence is required if liquor is served, as well as a SERVE-IT-RIGHT certificate

  • Renters will be asked to sign a waiver indemnifying FVCA (renters are urged to obtain 3rd party liability insurance for the event)


A damage deposit of $500  ($250 for Lounge)  is payable at the time of booking; the deposit will be returned in full after the event if there are no damage or other charges

The full rental fee is payable 30 days before the function

Cancellation policy is:

 

  • if a cancellation is made more than 30 days before the date of the function, a fee of $250  ($100 for Lounge)  will be retained

  • if a cancellation is made less than 30 days before the date of the function, the full deposit will be retained;  any rental amount paid will be returned to you


It is the renters' responsibility to make arrangements to let caterers, DJ, decorators, etc. in to the venue.  If staff is called to let them in, there will be a $25 charge
 

Bins are provided for recycling, organic waste and garbage.  Renters are responsible to ensure that all waste is appropriately sorted and left in the kitchen after the function.  Renters must notify their caterers accordingly.   There will be a charge if our staff have to do the sorting
